Aluminum and Your Baby

Aluminum is considered by everyone to be a neurotoxin.

Whether it’s present in your drinking water, your antacid medication, your infant’s formula, or your vaccines, IT IS STILL A NEUROTOXIN.

“Even at low levels, aluminum salts can increase levels of glial activation, inflammatory cytokines and amyloid precursor protein within the brain.”

Because of its toxicity, the FDA set the limit of aluminum content in pediatric parenteral nutrition (PN) to be no more than 25 mcg. of aluminum/liter. Because Aluminum accumulates in the body, and it is TOXIC. Even when keeping the aluminum content under 25 mcg Al/liter for PN, adverse effects have been documented.

“Recorded manifestations of aluminum toxicity include fracturing osteomalacia and reduced bone mineralization, neurological dysfunction and dialysis encephalopathy, microcytic hypochromic anemia, and cholestasis.”

“Premature infants are particularly at high risk of aluminum accumulation and toxicity as they often require days of PN support and have immature kidneys that are incapable of excreting aluminum efficiently.”

DO YOU KNOW how much aluminum is in vaccines?

Infants who follow the CDC vaccines schedule will receive 4.4 mg (MILLIGRAMS) of aluminum in the first 6 months of life. A single vaccine could have as much as 800 mcg. of Aluminum.

You remember who is at high risk of Aluminum accumulation and toxicity? Premature infants. 12% of all babies are premature every year.

Premature Babies are at an increased risk of:

  • Autism
  • SIDS
  • ADHD
  • Learning Difficulties
  • Asthma
  • Wheeze

The use of Aluminum-containing vaccines, and Aluminum accumulation is associated with an increased risk of Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease and Autism.
