Dr. Jay Goldberg, 53, Died of Heart Attack While Mountain Biking (and After Booster Shot?)
A well-loved obstetrician, Dr. Jay Golberg, 53, died suddenly of a heart attack while mountain biking in the Santa Monica mountains on Sunday.
By all accounts he was fit and healthy and this news shocked everyone who knew him.
Dr. Golberg, who has delivered babies for over 26 years, was very pro-vaccine (like most physicians tend to be), and complied with Cedar Sinai’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
A reddit account had just shared that their doctor friend got the 4th booster shot and then died of a heart attack while mountain biking.
There of course is little proof beyond circumstance that the young doctor was fully vaccinated, although it’s very likely he was. Cedar Sinai does have a vaccine mandate in place for employees or physicians who contract with the hospital.
The reddit user who made this post then deleted it. But the story turned out to be true, there is a doctor who died mountain biking. Could this be Dr. Goldberg they were writing about? Could he have recently received his fourth shot, the second “booster”?
It isn’t a stretch that the COVID vaccine may have exacerbated or even caused a heart problem in this doctor. The COVID-19 vaccines have been implicated for causing cardiovascular problems, including sudden heart attacks, or heart inflammation like myocarditis and pericarditis in a range of people including teen girls and boys as well as men into their mid-50’s like Dr. Goldberg.
While most people may have the urge to brush off any association, we have strong indicators that the COVID-19 vaccine is capable to damaging the heart through increased inflammation.
It is hypothesized that the antigenic spike protein which is encoded by the mRNA vaccines damages blood vessels, and also forms blood clots or coagulation.
The CDC has acknowledged there is a higher incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis in teens after the vaccine than what is expected by chance, however they still give a blanket recommendation summoning everyone to get double and triple vaccinated, including low risk children and teens.

Dr. Jay Goldberg was my OBGYN and delivered my three boys. He was the MOST amazing man and doctor. I was at his funeral Wednesday and have been teary eyed all week. When I found out about his death last Monday I knew that second he wasn’t a man who’d have a heart attack. I’m 100% convinced he’d gotten his 4th shot, then went mountain biking like he always did, but this time the 4th shot enlarged his heart so much it couldn’t handle the strenuous activity. Devastating in every way, and the worst part is no one will believe me and tell me to stop…. The truth needs to come out, how many more people need to needlessly die???
